Elementary & Middle School Director: Aaron Thompson

Pastor Aaron graduated from LIFE Bible College in 1992. He has 10 years of experience as a teacher & administrator from preschool-high school level. Aaron also spent 13 years as a youth pastor in Marysville at Victory Foursquare Church.

Preschool Director: Monica Kalma
|
|
Mrs. Kalma helped launch Legacy School in 2004. Her teaching and leadership are characterized by joy and kindness towards children and adults. Before she came to Legacy, she spent several years as a preschool teacher at A Stable Beginnings Preschool.

Kindergarten Director: Peggy Ellis
|
|
Mrs. Ellis graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in elementary education. Her career in education includes teaching first grade in the Marysville School District for 20 years. She was also the founder and director of three preschools in Snohomish County that are still fruitful and in operation today. Mrs. Ellis was the Marysville School District Teacher of the Year in 1988.

Elementary/Jr High Math Teacher: Paris Templin
|
|
Mr. Templin has taught computers and mathematices from elementary to college level for the past 15 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from California Polytechnic State University and a Masters of Science from Golden Gate University.

Piano Teacher: Brenda Chittim
|
|
Brenda graduated from Northwest University with a degree in Music. She has taught small group piano lessons and private lessons at schools and out of her home. She teaches classical piano and modern worship piano.
She's recently developed a curriculum called "Keyboarding in Contemporary Worship"

Mrs. Bertman is an accomplished musician and teacher. She plays and teaches a wide range of styles, from classical to blues, celtic to contemporary church.

Mr. Masten is an energetic and creative teacher, who focuses on building teamwork, character, and work ethic into our studetns, all with an infectious attitude of positive encouragement. He is currently a student at School Of Ministry Arts in Marysville, WA.

Pre-kindergarten Teacher: Kelli Fields

Mrs. Fields attended Edmonds Community College and Seattle Art Institute. She trained under Mrs. Kalma, preschool director at Legacy School.

Pre-school Teacher: Marilynn Westphal
|
|
Mrs. Westphal has been a preschool teacher at A Stable Beginnings Preschool and Legacy Preschool for the past several years. She is beloved by students and parents alike.

Pre-school Teacher: Stephanie Southard
|
|
Mrs. Southard has three of her own children, and is active in their education, serving as Parent Coordinator in the Quil Ceda Elementary Co-op. Legacy is excited to welcome Mrs. Southard's passion for teaching and love for children into our preschool this year.
